FOR EMPOWERMENT

MISSION

Alliance for Empowerment, Inc. (“Alliance”) was formed to provide executive management, governance and administration services to not-for-profit entities in the Southern Tier.  The purpose of the Alliance is to consolidate and coordinate the non-clinical and non-programmatic operations of each participating organization.  We aim to create administrative efficiencies, thereby building capacity for participating organizations to focus on program growth to fulfill their respective missions, with the highest quality of service to the community.
 

OUR CORE VALUES

Through Our Core Values, we aim to:

• Support the unique infra-structure needs of participating organizations through effective governance and the delivery of efficient core administrative functions

• Provide collective expertise and talent that single or smaller agencies couldn’t provide on their own

• Help improve the capacity, effectiveness and financial health of non-profits in the Southern Tier region

• Strengthen our regional network of non-profit organizations through collaboration, and pooling of resources

 

POTENTIAL PARTNER PROFILE

The Alliance for Empowerment will consider additional partner organizations who offer services to vulnerable populations and share a similar mindset of collaboration.

 

Organizations funded through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, Office of Addiction Services and Supports, Office of Mental Health, Office of the Aging, Department of Education and Office of Children and Family Services may potentially be a good fit for working with the Alliance.

 

Geographically, the Alliance will serve members of Chemung and its’ contiguous counties, within 150 miles of Elmira, NY.

 

Prospective agencies will have operating budgets between 1 and 15 million dollars, and employ less than 200 FTE’s.  Agencies must be free of negative or early alert warning status by any regulatory body.

 

Potential organizations need to be willing and able to engage legal services and associated costs related to due diligence review prior to partnership determination.
